Freedom Academy Charter School Sports

Our two teams, the Hornets and the Lady Hornets played this year against other Camden Middle Schools such as Hatch, Morgan Village, East Camden, Camden Promise, Bonsall, Cooper’s Point, Pyne Poynt and Veterans Memorial.

Our guys had a rough year.  The team consisted of the young men of our school.  The coaches, Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Campbell, have high hopes for next year’s team.

The Lady Hornets

Our ladies had a great year!  The team consisted of the following students: Ny’Azjah Spruel, Shaniyla Johnson, Jada Simmons, Ashley Carr, Brianaya Carr, Eboni Tilmon, Janarra Townsend, Jayonna Walker, Essnce Pickens, Tahtiyonna Solomon, and Arae Reddick.  Our leading scorers were:  Brianaya Carr 7 pts per game and Shaniyla Johnson 4 pts per game.  Our record was:  2-5, one loss was in the playoffs.  Our coaches, Miss McCann and Miss Wilson are looking forward to next year’s season!  Great Job!!!
