Our mission statement for Fundraising: To raise funds to further the education of the children at Freedom Academy Charter School through fun and profitable activities, in a safe and friendly environment.
We began this year with a Breast Cancer Fundraiser!!!! Our Team Conway (in honor of Ms Betty Conway - survivor) will be walking for:
2011 Making Strides of Pennsauken NJ
Sunday, October 23, 2011 - 8:30 AM at Cooper River Park
Reminders from Ms Tammy Pacheco - our team leader:
- More pink means the next big breast cancer research breakthrough.
- More pink means free lodging for breast cancer patients when treatment is far from home.
- More pink means 2.5 million breast cancer survivors who celebrated another birthday last year.
And it’s all possible because of the generosity of people like you. Helping the American Cancer Society continue their work in the fight against breast cancer is really important to me. Last year, Making Strides raised $60 million to help people stay well and get well, to find cures, and fight back against breast cancer and it happened one $10, $25, and $50 donation at a time. I’ve signed up for this event because I really want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer and your donation of any amount will help me do that.
