Community Service Club 

Community service is currently running two major projects in our school Soda Tabs and Trick or Treat for UNICEF. 

1. Soda Tabs will be ongoing.  Please send students with tabs to myself or Ms. McCann.  End date will be extended and students will be notified as to the full end date to declare the winners.  It is an upper house vs. lower house competition with the winner earning dress down.

2. Trick or Treat for UNICEF. Boxes will be distributed school wide during PE later this week after they watch the video.  Some students already have them.  Our school wide goal is to raise $210.  To aid in the efforts, Community Service club will be selling items to assist in reaching our goal.  For 50 cents students can purchase a ghost tootsie pop.  For $1 they can purchase a pumpkin surprise filled with small candies (NO GUM).  For $2 students and staff (for $5) can purchase a pumpkin that shows how many kids the donation saved.  Attached will be a dress down pass for 1 free day in October only. The pumpkins will be hung in the hallways to show who has donated.  ONLY MS. MCCANN OR MS. WILSON WILL HAVE THE PUMPKINS AND DRESS DOWN PASSES.  Students and staff must present their dress down passes the day they are being used.

All year long collections:     Coupons!!!! We want your unused current or slightly expired coupons.  WE WILL CUT.  The military can use manufacturer’s coupons on military bases here and overseas.  They cannot be more than 4 months expired and they MUST be manufacturer’s coupons.  Last year, Freedom sent over $2,000 worth of coupons to military bases in Germany and Japan.
